If you educate a woman you educate a whole family
You know that most of the education we recieve in this world is from the male perspective. Think about it! History has the word his in it. We are taught that we should serve our duties to our male counter part and our chlidren, when shouldn't we be putting ourselves first? I really like how she says that " Responsibility to yourself means that you don't fall for shallow and easy solutions" page 23. I really identify with is because the word shallow in a sense means not deep and if we have these types of solutions to our problems then it would create even more problems. When I think about it if i had a problem with a class and someone told me to just drop the class, would it be the best way for me? I think that it's up to each of us to determine what is the best solution for each and everyone of us. Also why does having to teach in a womens college be considered a second rate career? when you think about it women really help because we educate the family first. Children spend more time with there mothers in the begining and thus learn from them first. So if you educate a woman you educate a family and thus the world continues.
